Tam Hlen is around 60 years old and had her face tattooed when she was 15. Although the design is a little faded out now it is still recognizable as the one worn by the women of the Muun tribe. Tan recalls the pain she went threw and remembers her mother being with her the whole time. Tam has 2 sons and 1 daughter and has lived in Ngait Kun village all her life. Chin State, Myanmar,2017.
