This is Htang Ling Khaw Kay. He is approximately seventy years old and is only one of two men in his village of Kyardo that continues to use the traditional dress. However when he visits the larger town of mindat he changes to a more modern attire. He explained how he does not feel comfortable in traditional clothing in bigger towns where everyone walks around in more modern clothes. Apart from hunting rabbits with his bow and arrow he cultivates he own food. The bow and arrow has also come in handy in the past as a form of self defense.
