But it's the circus children and the sparkle in their eyes, that just like gold conjures a sense of hope for a better future.

Frank the clown puts on a brave face under the constant gaze of his niece Jessica. Whilst most of the older members of the family evoke a sense of resignation, Frank still shares the excitement of the younger members. Although plagued by a constant flow of negative obstacles he is determined that the show must go on.
